The signing ceremony took place at the KeMU Towers, Nairobi Campus, and was witnessed by key stakeholders from both institutions.

This groundbreaking partnership seeks to:
1. Facilitate the deployment of KeMU-trained nursing alumni to Austria to help meet the country’s demand for 6,000 nurses.

2. Collaboratively enhance °­±ð²Ñ±«â€™s nursing curriculum implementation to align with global healthcare standards.

The partnership will open international employment opportunities for KeMU alumni while addressing Austria’s critical nursing workforce needs. It also underscores °­±ð²Ñ±«â€™s commitment to producing globally competitive healthcare professionals through academic excellence and strategic collaborations.

Present during the ceremony were Dr. Titus Mutwiri, PhD, Dean of the School of Health Sciences; Dr. Lily Masinde, Chair of the Department of Public Health, Nutrition and Dietetics; Ms. Miriam Orang’, Lecturer in the Nursing Department; Ms. Joccylyn Mwikali from the VC’s office and in charge of KeMU Collaborations; Ruth Nyambura, a proud KeMU nursing alumna; and Ms. Rose Barasa representing Lebenshilfe.
